Abstract
|
|
|
Chalazion is chronic granulomatous inflammation of the meibomian gland and cosmetically disfiguring lesion that may recur and frequently fail to hot soaks and topically adminis tered antibiotics.
The effectiveness of intralesional corticosteroid treatment in a variety of acute and chronic inflammatory skin lesion is proved. So we examined its value in the treatment of 24 patients with 33 chalazia and obtained relatively good results.
